Immersive exhibition bringing research to life
A collaboration with Pierre d’Avoine Architects, Visualising Atmospheres was a two-week exhibition held at the Building Centre. Designed to bring to life the results of a research partnership between the Open University and Brunel University, the show explored the role of digital visualisations in urban place-making, focusing on the example of a Doha developer who signed off proposals on the strength of visualisations alone. To reflect the interlinked themes of the research, the exhibition layout was designed to be immersive and non-linear, almost souk-like, with shortcuts between sections and exhibits that took visitors from idea to idea and theme to theme.
