In central London, space is always an issue. This rehabilitation clinic occupied a small unit in the heart of the City of London, comprising a modest staff office and a suite of training
rooms and changing areas, but with a growing number of patients and no prospect of moving premises, it needed to reorganise the space, without overstepping its footprint. Russian For Fish won the tender to develop and deliver a complete fit-out that would increase the number of training rooms available as well as integrating the company’s branding into the design and palette of the interior. By intelligently reconfiguring the layout and concealing structural elements with bespoke joinery in keeping with the brand’s design profile, we were able to increase the clinic’s treatment capacity, emphasising the white-and-yellow palette at touchpoints including the bathroom tiles, joinery and lockers. The changing rooms were designed to be soothing, relaxed spaces, while ensuring the build was robust enough to withstand the clinic’s traffic.
