Tapestry Court Penthouse
Mortlake, London
2011

Tapestry Court, a former public house ‘The Queen’s Head Hotel’, is situated on the site of John Dee’s library, adjacent to the Mortlake Tapestry Works and overlooks the River Thames.  It is listed as a Building of Townscape Merit and falls with a Conservation Area.

The scheme was to convert the former office at second floor into an open plan, penthouse apartment.  A rooftop extension provides a sunroom; allowing the existing roof garden to be occupied all year and taking advantage of the stunning panoramic views.
