Tapestry Court Pavilion
Mortlake, London
2012

In association with the first floor apartment at Tapestry Court a further sunroom was designed as a pavilion.

The Pavilion provided more freedom to experiment with materials, as the client wished it to be experienced as an external space.  To achieve this the polished plaster elements glide from inside to out and the external brick pavers are also used internally. The colour of the pavers combines with the polished plaster on the internal walls to provide a soft contrast to the relatively hard interior.

The scheme was shortlisted for the New London Architecture: Don’t Move Improve competition 2012.
