Russell Square
Central London

The Grade II Listed apartment, overlooking the square, was refurbished throughout.

Relics of a 1980s interior, the architraves, skirting and cornices to the rear of the apartment were upgraded in keeping with the period of the property.

By relocating the kitchen to the rear of the property and introducing additional glazing to the rear façade and roof, the surrounding vegetation is given a strong presence within the apartment.  The neutral tones of the timber floor, kitchen and décor are enhanced by the planting on the terrace and complement the dappled light that falls through the treetops.
